‘South Park’ Creators To Create New MORMON MUSICAL for Broadway 2009

Published by blondieenyc at 10:50 am under Celebrity Gossip Edit This

I think the guys, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, who created South Park are mere geniuses just because they don’t give a fuck and I literally spew out whatever I’m drinking whenever I watch something of theirs…in example, BASEketball.  You all better have seen that shit.  So what’s next for the funny duo? Sniff, sniff…broadway?

That’s what it looks like.  Parker and Stone are said to be working with Avenue Q co-creator, Jeff Marx, in creating a new musical called Mormon Musical.  I will pay more than the asking price if this happens.  I just read a book about THOSE CRAZY MORMON bitches who like wed their own daughters at 13 (fundamentalists Mormons, anyway)…someone needs to poke fun.  What a perfect pair to do so.

It also couldn’t have come in a better timing for controversy.  With all of the Prop 8’s not passing having to do with the Mormon leadership for their anti-gay rights, I could only imagine the jokes and story lines Parker and Stone are going to come up with.

Rehearsals start in December and it’s expected to hit the Way of Broad in 2009.  There’s a hot dude starring in it, too—of course he’s gay.  That’d be magical if he wasn’t.  Broadway star Cheyenne Jackson is set to star in the musical.

“I play the main missionary, Elder something,” says Cheyenne.
