A pinup babe has died! Bettie Page, passed away on Thursday at the age of 85.  If you don’t know who this hottness is, you’ve been living in a cloud.  She’s responsible for helping to set off the 1960s sexual revolution by posing provactively or wearing next to nothing. From 1950s secretary to one of the most famous models, this bitch was the shit. 

Her agent, Mark Roesler said she suffered a heart attack in LA last week and never regained consciousness.  She had been hospitalized for three weeks with pneumonia. 

“She captured the imagination of a generation of men and women with her free spirit and unabashed sensuality,” Roesler said. “She is the embodiment of beauty.”

Page had disappeared for decades including years during which she battled mental illness and became a born-again Christian.  When she hit the scene in the 1990s again, she sometimes granted interviews but refused to take photos telling an interviewer in 1998, “I don’t want to be photographed in my old age. I feel the same way with old movie stars. … It makes me sad. We want to remember them when they were young.”
