Former ‘American Idol’ Producer Fights Back Against Paula

Published by blondieenyc at 3:30 pm under Celebrity Gossip Edit This

Nigel Lythgoe reminds me of like Martin Short on crack.  If you’re unaware of Martin Short, slap yourself in the head and then google it.  So this bitch was the former producer for American Idol and of course he was asked to comment on Paula Abdul’s having a bowl of crazy for lunch claiming that Idol allowed alleged stalker/suicide victim Paula Goodspeed into audition.  Bitch didn’t back down and here’s how it went:

“You do not take somebody in that room that you believe is a danger to herself or a danger to Paula… [Goodspeed] had been through an audition process with the producers, an audition process with the executive producers, and we were wheeling her in as a huge fan of Paula Abdul. This is what we knew: She was a great fan, she was a lovely girl. And a great fan of Paula.”

He also responded to Paula Abdul claiming she requested Goodspeed out:

“This is three years ago,” said the former producer. “I honestly say I can’t remember the conversation. If Paula said, that’s what she said, I believe her… I’m not angry with Paula. I think Paula’s in a position of: ‘It wasn’t my fault,’ and reaching out from that point of view. For her (Paula Goodspeed) family’s sake, it should really be dropped.”

This is the last time I’m writing about this shit.  Unless Paula goes on top of the Staples Center in LA and threatens suicide over Ryan Seacret panty sniffing Simon Cowell over her.  It’s a long stretch, but anything’s possible with these fools.
