Man, start of 2009 has sure been a depressing one.  It’s been revealed that John Travolta and Kelly Preston’s 16-year-old son, Jett, died today, Friday.  While vacationing in the Bahamas, Jett apparently suffered a seizure at the family vacation home.  Attempts were made to try and revive him, but he died at the scene.  

Jett has a history with seizures and was the eldest child of the celebrity couple.  Their youngest is daughter Ella Blue who is eight.  A police spokeswoman says that Jett hit his head in the bathtub which triggered off the seizure.  

Incredibly sad.

Back in August, Dr. Dre’s 20-year old son, Andre Young Jr., died from unknown causes.  Those causes have been officially revealed by the Los Angeles County’s Coroner.

Well, on Friday, the exact cause of death was revealed by the Los Angeles County’s Coroner. A department spokesman said the following:

This case has been closed, it’s been ruled an accident due to morphine and heroin intoxication.

Stay away from the drugs.  They never do anyone good.  RIP.
