Unfortunately no one likes going to buy music anymore.  They sit on their lazy and cheap asses and get that shit on either iTunes or Limewire.  I’m one of those lazy bitches.  Due to people like myself, the famous and hot mess of today Times Square Virgin Megastore in NYC is hittin’ the hay.  I never went there to begin with.  First of all, mid-town can suck it and there’s too many tourists being mo’s.  However, when viewing this picture, I’m reminded of a time when I forced my then virgin friend to stand underneath the Virgin sign to snap a shot and remind her of her penis free days.

The store was the highest selling music store in the U.S. with annual sales of $55 million.  But back in August 2007, Virgin Entertainment Group was sold to two real estate companies.  This obviously fucked them.  The store is set to close this April and will leave Virgin with just give chains.  One will still reside in Manhattan’s Union Square. That shit only produces an estimated $40 million in annual sales volume.

So these stores will be forever gone within the next couple of years I say.  So I dedicated Hot Mess status to our beloved Virgin Megastore.  A) for once being so huge B) for being named after good girls until the average age of 15 and C) allegedly deeming itself a Virgin when in fact boys and girls of all ages enter everyday.
