Mickey Rourke To Become ‘The Wrestler’ In Real Life
Mickey Rourke fascinates and scares me at the same time. For one, I find it fascinating that this mo has become 2009’s comeback kid. Scare wise, I look at his face and I immediately want to find my Care Bear’s movies and have a marathon to get that face out of my head.
Anyway, with this whole big comeback in The Wrestler, looks as though Rourke will actually step into the ring and…wrestle. The star was agreed to take part in WrestleMania’s big 25th anniversary this April in Texas.
“The boys from the WWE called me and asked me to do it,” said hatchet on the SAG Awards red carpet this past Sunday. “I said, ‘I want to.’ I’m talking with Rowdy Roddy Piper about it… Chris Jericho, you better get in shape. Because I’m coming after your ass.”
Honestly, if I was a wrestler and knew I had to face this, I’d automatically drop out and jet off to Malaysia. A) I’d instantly hit the ground upon viewing the mug and B) Malaysia sounds like a faraway place for him to find me.
