Surprised? Didn’t think so.  I speculated this all along, but now it’s pretty much being reported that Chris Brown received a sexy times text message from another broad and unfortunately, Rihanna got a hold of his phone and read it.

The New York Daily News reports:

“He got a booty call. He got a text. Rihanna saw it and she got upset. They started to argue. She got out of the car. He wanted her to get back in, so he grabbed her. She pulled away. That’s when she’s told people he hit her.”

Chris and his mouthpieces have yet to comment, give any explanations, or apologize for this whole hot mess, but that hasn’t put a stop to him trying to contact her.  An inside source says:

“Chris has been trying to contact her. So far she hasn’t taken his call. Her family is on their way to be with her. She has some close girlfriend looking after her.”

Well, she’d be a complete moron to take the call.  And leave it to family to open up their mouths to the media.  After Rihanna’s grandmother simply said her granddaughter is fine, Chris Brown’s sister, Lytrell Bundy, told TV’s Extra:

“He’s always been a good boy — never violent.”

And when asked how he’s doing:

“He’s doing good. He’s coping,” says Chris’ sister. “He’s doing as… as to be expected.”

Since the mo went bust crazy on a broad, naturally one would ask about their upbringing…in which case they did:

“It was a normal sister and brother relationship. Nothing different, nothing strange.”

First of all, I’m glad Chris can sleep through all of this.  I’m sure we can all rest easy tonight knowing that an alleged abuser is fast asleep in his bed.  Never violent should easily transition over to woman beater.  I doubt there’s anything normal about this situation, but when it diapers, rest assured he was a normal kid.  Maybe normal to them was beating each other up? That would make logical sense.

I’m going to put this on the maybe block because I’m sure anyone is trying to get a piece of their mind in this story for some fame.  Two supposed friends of Rihanna reveal that they don’t think Sunday was the first time Chris Brown attacked her.

Interviewed by UsWeekly, the two claim that back in early December, they noticed that the pop princess had very visible bruises on her neck.  They asked her if she was OK and Rihanna answered, “We broke up again.” They say they didn’t pursue the issue further.

Oh really? So friends are people who let serious issues like that go by without pleading with your friend to get some help? Yeah, interesting.
