Hollywood studios are praising the fuck out of The Dark Knight.  Expensive bitch just exceeded the $1 billion dollar mark at the box office as of Friday.

That’s a shit load of $11.50 tickets spent round the world.  Who knew us cheap bastards could give a movie $1 billion! It’s also the highest grossing 2-# IMAX film of all time…it took in $64.9 million.  All of this money is giving me heartache and wear in my pockets.

Although it made mucho dinero, it sits in the 4th place slot for top box-office earners.  It comes in with $1.001 billion just behind Titanic ($1.84 bil), The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King ($1.12 bil) and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest ($1.07 billion).

Let’s see how many Oscars this little bitty takes home tonight.
