Waste of Time: Zac Efron Tries To Become A Serious Actor
Zac Efron really thinks he can prove himself as a serious actor. He pulled out of another musical re-make, Footloose and now he’s latching himself on to a rather odd picture. According to Variety, Zac may be teaming up again with Burr Steers, who directed his latest film, 17 Again.
Reports state that Efron is being mentioned to star in an adaptation of the book The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud. The novel is centered around:
“a caretaker at a cemetery who manages to have weekly meetings with a younger brother whose accidental death he feels was his fault.”
If he’s not taking his shirt off in this one, it’s a complete waste of time. That or if he’s not dancing for the gays..it’s just not going to work. He’s a MOVIE STAR, not an ACTOR. Prove me wrong and we’ll talk further.
